Wedding Colors & Design Inspiration Start With You!
While we don’t yet know the Pantone Color of the Year for 2018, they’ve already begun the process of tracking the latest trends!
Pantone recently released the color trends that their experts believe we’ll be seeing in 2018. I’m not going to lie – I am so excited!
The #1 trend for 2018 so far is a return to brighter wedding colors We have been floating around pastels, blushes, and gold tones for a few years now (because those shades are gorgeous and almost every woman looks good in them!), but start thinking of putting your bridesmaids in beautiful bright colors and offset these shades with toned-down florals in their hands.
Pantone is also calling for more metallics and iridescent wedding colors. They suggest using the metallics as your neutral – and I love this idea. I’ve already noted that gold has ruled the past few years, but as you’re planning your wedding palette, consider copper, iridescent whites, stainless steel, brushed nickel and gold, and pair them with rich, deep colors.
